This table is really great value, esp. being solid wood and having the option to extend. I thought from other reviews it might feel rough or even splintery, but it definitely doesn’t to me. The finish of the table wasn’t fully what I expected, which is why I removed one star. It’s a little shiny and looks cheaper than I wanted in certain lights. The extension mechanism also works pretty well. It takes some getting used to and isn’t super smooth every time. But it works with some finagling. And of course, the white glove delivery assembly was awesome. The table comes in 2 boxes and on my first order only the 1st box arrived. Turns out the 2nd box was shipped to another state. Wayfair was really good about it and sent a whole new table. The instructions were easy to follow. One of the legs snapped when we pulled it out of the box, so you have to be careful with the parts. The particle board is thin and not well made. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Suki 84 inch medium brown rectangular oak dining table by Mercana. It was delivered in two boxes on large pallets. Both boxes were very heavy. The table came in four pieces. Assembly was not difficult, but required two people due to the weight of the product. The table is very solid and sturdy. The finish is a nice color that can match many different options. The table top does have texture and grooves which may cause issues for families that have small children that have messy meals. I have been able to wipe up small spills and crumbs without very much getting stuck or left behind. Another thing to note is that our dog is no longer able to lay under the table like he used to due to the cross beam near the floor. This may be an issue for others too. I love this table because it is a little more narrow than the standard dining table, and I love the fact that you can add or take away the leaf that is included! The table is very sturdy and feels very well built. The color is a rich golden hue, so it definitely pulls a little more of an ochre tone, which worked perfectly in my clients space. Mostly, I love that it’s not very wide because in this space we added a second dining area, so the narrowness of this really helped with the floor plan and space planning. Beautiful table. Nice sleek style but be prepared for 1-2 replacements and needing to be present for delivery. I missed two delivery windows because I was not aware it came with white glove service even if you didnt request it. The first table came very damaged so they sent a replacement. That also had a minor paint issue and the hinges to extend the table did not work 100 I eventually worked out a compromise with wayfair because I was not confident a 3rd table wouldnt also be damaged and I was really attached to the length of the table because I have a large dining area.
