Incredibly impressed with the quality finish of these! Little pricey but that’s typical with teak it makes such an impact. I bought (4) pieces for this shower modified them to fit nicely together. Just need to sand the edges by hand to smooth out the cuts for no splinters. Especially helpful for a shallow sloped shower floor that has a little bit of standing water on full blast. VinTread mats feature 1-inch wide threads with 3/4-inch space between them assembled onto flexible vinyl ribbons for easy roll-up. This is one of the more comfortable mats in our line-up. Product is manufactured in 40' rolls of 2, 3, or 4 foot widths and we cut them to order. Once you get the mat, if it is too big, it is easy to cut down the length of the mat. Soft vinyl ribbons joining the threads are easy to cut through with a utility knife. However if you wish to cut down the width of the mat - this may be a bit of a challenge as you will need to use a saw.

However, it may not be good for higher traffic areas where shoes are worn as they would be subject to much more abuse and would wear too quickly. Therefore entryways that may see more than 100 visitors per day should use a different type of matting.
