Overall, I like these a lot. I wanted something sturdy and basic in this room which houses my home office because I also have a lot of dumbbells and they were on a weight rack which I found to be somewhat unsightly. I had to deduct a star because I could not get the latches attached to the lid, no matter how hard I tried and the pre-drilled holes for the hinges were really not acceptable. In both of these chests, the middle pre-drilled hole was missing entirely. The others were just barely drilled and so I had to ask a friend to come over and help me get the screws fully screwed in. The picture you've all been waiting for... Yep holds albums. I was hoping to flip the box on its side so that you can read the spines, but I miscalculated. They will not fit. However, as you can see, two rows of vinyl fit just fine with the box positioned as intended. This is about 80 records. It's a nice size and for me held about 3 quilts, one blanket, and a couple of shams if you roll or fold right. Pretty roomy for the size regardless but fairly compact for smaller spaces. Easy to put together. The hinge is nice because it holds the lid open and prevents it from slamming down. Sturdy construction and parts do not feel cheap so for the price this is very good.
