Each table top is a natural reclaimed wood product, providing additional character with some variation in color and texture based on the raw material available. The reclaimed wood table tops come with a water-based urethane Matte finish to make them easy to clean and keep yourself free of pesky splinters. This table top exceeded my expectations. I have a round fire table that has the glass surround and it wasn’t functional as a table when not in use. It was kept covered, which wasn’t pretty. These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply.
