These were slightly overpriced, in my opinion, but ultimately exactly what we needed--we had a height restriction, as well as a desired depth--and are serving us nicely. Assembly note: you have to drill holes in the doors, for the hinges, and I was a little worried that was going to lead to issues, but it worked out fine...I didn't have to adjust the doors at all, really (maybe I got lucky). Otherwise, these look great and do their job admirably! (tip: I used some of the cardboard from the box to support them on the carpet...without it, they weren't sitting quite straight / evenly). I purchased two of these storage units a few years ago, and they’ve been surprisingly versatile! We originally used both in our playroom to store kids’ toys. After moving last year and as the kids have gotten older, I repurposed one for our laundry room to store cleaning supplies, pool towels, and other household essentials. Since I still have a toddler, I added a childproof lock to keep cleaning products safely out of reach. There’s plenty of storage space, and we typically keep a small step stool on the bottom shelf as well. The second unit is in our basement and is used for miscellaneous household storage. I love that the shelves are adjustable, making it easy to customize the space for different items as our needs change. One thing to note is that we did encounter a few imperfections during assembly, so I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re planning a perfectly seamless, custom built-in look. However, for everyday storage, they’re attractive, functional, and hold a ton of stuff. I’ve been happy with how easily we’ve been able to repurpose them throughout our home over the years!. Mandy.
