Took a chance on this one since there weren't many reviews and glad I did. Very solid built. I plan to use this as an aquarium stand for a 35 gallon tank (probably 300lbs) and there won't be any problems. I'm a semi-handy person and I was putting this together on my own then my husband jumped in to help. In total took us maybe an hour. Alone, maybe would take 1.5 hours. And I know doors are always a problem when putting cabinets together and this one was not a problem. Lined up pretty well without much fuss. Black walnut color is spot on. Not too dark like some can be. You can still see the grain. And this is solid wood too. Not that cheap particle board stuff. Came with 2 shelves but I only put one in. Just received this product yesterday, quick shipping. I bought two to replace my nightstands for extra shoe storage. Love the color. Sturdy and heavy. I put them together by myself, took about 3hrs. Doors are a little complicated to adjust to get them perfectly even but with a little patience and tweeking (as noted in the directions) they turned out great. Other photos show gaps in the doors when closed or not even when installed. There is a way to adjust these one hanging easily but the reviewers must not have followed these last directions. I am a woman and put this together myself sitting on the floor the whole assembly. It is packaged very well and I had a time getting it out of the box. The predrilled holes were a little hard to find but following the instructions line by line showed them after using my cell phone flashlight. The assembly was not difficult. The most challenging part was putting the back cover on as it did not have predrilled holes. After trying to drill the screws with no predrilled holes, I settled on McGyvering the back panel and it is just as good and Im satisfied. The cabinet is sturdy. Well made and looks good and compliments other items I have in my home. I bought this cabinet for bedside books and stow away for things I always put on dresser to clear clutter. I got this for a WFH office setup to put books/etc inside and a small TV on top. It fits a maximum of a 32 inch TV along the top.
