Great upgrade to my older unit , lots more power and suction on fan , better led lighting, very well made unit, 3 different ways to control unit , wage hind in front of sensors to turn on fan and change speeds , use buttons on front of either side of unit or use the remote control. This is a beautiful, sleek looking range hood. It has great features and is very well made. The convertible option is huge for those of us who don't currently have a vented hood. It is heavy but installation looks like it will be straight forward. My installation is delayed since I have to remove cabinets over the stove, find the backsplash tiles that current end at the bottom of the cabinet and continue it up before installing the hood. This is a work in progress. I’m so far very happy with the quality of this range hood. The look is what attracted me to it. I wanted something modern but not too common. I will need to follow up with more pics after is fully installed. It is quite heavy so I’m reinforcing my ceiling just to make sure it is very secure. It’s a great hood. It’s attractive and suits my new kitchen. It does what I want it to do, which is to take cooking odors out of the house. My workers will finish the installation next week. Because we have an open floorpan we eat near our cooking area and we need to turn off the fan before any conversation can take place. One of the lights burned out very quickly. Beautiful and quiet! Unit was fairly easy to install as this was a replacement for a 20 year old hood that had died. The "wax on, wax off" for fan speed didn't work well in test but needed to get it up. Issue persisted after install so I emailed support. The buttons and remote work perfectly. I was sent a video link on where your hand needs to be while swiping. This failed to resolve and I was asked to send a picture of the build sticker. Support confirmed the issue and are sending a replacement control board. It would be nice if the how to swipe video and any other manufacturer video, was included in the sales page or emailed on confirmation of purchase. The other issue I ran into was the sale price change. I bought the unit as an early Black Friday sale and then found that the price actually dropped further on Black Friday. Support offered to reimburse the difference and followed through! Thank you Emma with Dalxo \ IKTCH support! That said, in the future I will wait until Black Friday before making a large purchase like this in the future. (I would have leveled up to the one with 4 lights and better baffles.) So far so good. Install was relatively easy, but because of its size, having a few extra folks to help hold it in place would be a good idea. My wife and I managed, but it was a bit tricky for just us 2 folks to install and we almost gave up. The gesture control seems a bit finicky, and we can't get it to work reliably. Maybe with time we'll figure it out. The buttons work fine though, and the remote control is a nice touch. The stainless-steel finish, display, and led lights look great. Definitely an upgrade from the Broan powerpack it replaced. As far as noise, it seems to be as loud as our old Broan PM350 we replaced. The grates tend to vibrate a little, so that with the fan contributes to the noise. I was hoping for something quieter, but it's no worse than the unit it replaced, so not a deal breaker. As for airflow, it seems a bit stronger than the broan unit it replaced, which was rate for only 350cfm. This one is rated at 900cfm at max speed, but i don't have a way to measure/confirm that. The fan cage seems bigger, and it's been doing a good job so far of keeping the smells/vapors out of the kitchen while cooking.
