This is not a real rock fountain, it is made from resin. It is as durable as a rock and but lighter and more portable than rock.

For the most part, I am happy with the fountain… I wanted something on my deck to help create some serenity and tune out noises from my neighborhood. I wish it was a bit louder but there is nothing that can drown out the sound of screaming kids. One of the three lights didn’t work but I wasn’t interested in the light feature so disconnected that. There were a couple of small chips on the fountain but not too big of a deal. The tube had some scratches which I only hope is that it doesn’t decay with use. This is a beautiful fountain. I didn’t give it five stars because we had difficulty attaching the tube to the pump. Struggled then ended up heating the tube end with a lighter. This did the trick.
