Works great! Most pet steps are not built for long dogs (dachshunds). These work great for her to get onto the couch and it folds up to an ottoman or seat when needed. The carpet on the steps is just stapled down so that looks a little cheap. But I would most definitely still buy it again. Sue. US. Tue Sep 22 2026

Just finished putting it together and setting it up in the bedroom. For reference I have a queen size bed that is 33 inches high. As you can see in the pic, I have two Frenchies a 25 pound.. Cienna. CA. Sat Oct 03 2026

I bought these stairs for my 20 lb cat who has arthritis and has pain jumping down from the bed. I originally looked at stairs made specifically for cats, but they didn’t seem sturdy enough to support him. These stairs are sturdy, well made, and have held up great. The carpet has also held up really well. My cat uses them every single time he gets off the bed. I would definitely recommend these for anyone with a larger cat (or small dog).. Jessica. USA. It was just what I was looking for, for my 4 lb yorkie! I have a 32" high bed and the top step comes right up to it! After getting a few pieces of cooked chicken out, she was trained and using it by herself in all of about 15 minutes! No tools to deal with and my husband and I had it put together in no time. Hint: We used a small rubber hammer to knock the pieces in the holes. At first I thought the price was too high, but now I'm glad I spent the money.. Carol. Hazen, AR. Tue Jan 21 2025

My dog is older with really bad joints. She is able to get up and down these stairs pretty easily. The only thing I don’t love about them is that the middle step where it folds up is a little flat so it can make them A little uneasy. However, I love how folds away when you don’t need them so it doesn’t take up too much space. Almost looks like a side table when folded up. Overall, nice stairs for my pup!. Andrea. Sumter, SC. RV Steps with Handrail, RV Stair, Mobile Home Stairs for Camper, Trailer, hot tub, Steps with Non-Slip mat, 660lbs Capacity

This staircase is just what I needed to access the upper level of my attic. I’m giving it five stars because it is very sturdy and I feel safe going up and down the stairs. Every screw hole lined up perfectly. The directions are a little tricky to follow, but if you have any experience at all putting things together, you’ll be able to figure it out. I will say that it took several hours to put together with two people. It isn’t difficult, but the screws are long and so they take more time to install. But that just makes it more sturdy.. Diane. Blountville, TN. Sat Aug 22 2026

Has helped with getting my dogs on and off the bed without them hurting themselves by jumping off. We had to teach them how to use the stairs as they had never used them before so that took a little while, but eventually they got the hang of it. The only con of these stairs is that they’re a little wobbly and don’t have much hold on the back other than placing them against the bed. Would have liked a little more sturdiness to them, so the dogs felt a little more safe.. Melissa. IL. Sun May 13 2018
