This table in cherry walnut does not look like the photos, it is much more orange than cherry. It also does NOT come with any game pieces. I am using my pieces from another chess set. The pedestal for the table to sit on is attractive and easy enough to put together if you turn it sideways and not straight up and down, the top was easy to assemble, but there seems to be less than perfection in the adjoining pieces of the two table tops and whatever I tried, I could not get the entire length to close completely however, it’s still beautiful. We put a runner down the length of the seam in the two tops and you can’t see it and it feels really strong and sturdy and as attractive and easy enough to assemble if you have some Mechanical ability that’s all..
