I just opened up the package from wayfair and saw the blue planter i ordered. Very pretty blue, but much bigger ( taller) than i expected. But as i get used to the size i think it will look beautiful on my patio with some smaller pots, and the height allows for roots to expand and plants to GROW nice and large. I love the look of these planters! I haven’t had a chance to plant anything in them yet, but I’m going to put some mums in them as fall approaches. The HDPE is sturdy, but light, the color is a very attractive brownish-black (not pure black, which I actually prefer), and the hammered pattern gives a really nice subtle visual interest. The only observationconcern I have, which may turn out to be unfounded once I plant things in them, is I wonder if the tapered base will make them prone to tipping.
