Love these two matching adjustable bar stools, so so comfortable and while my husband was grilling burgers I had them assembled by the time he was done. Super easy directions. I did need him to tighten the screws so maybe 15 min per chair the most. He is 6’3 “ and the chair is great for his height and can be easily lowered by pulling up on the handle just under the seat. The vegan leather is soft and rich looking, not pleather if you know what I mean. Not shiny. I plan on using them to do haircuts from home. My husband is 215 lbs and the chair still operated up and down. His only wish was that the seat could be a little deeper but he did love the comfort, spin and height adjustment. A great little find! The set of replacement bar stools was in perfect condition! I love the chairs, but I will admit that I have to get used to the fact that they do not automatically return to their original position when you stand up! However, the first set of chairs I received were obviously returned by a previous customer; they had been partially unwrapped with hardware removed and loose in the box, and there was a large dent in the back of one of the chairs. In addition, the stain on both seats was not applied correctly and visibly damaged. Very nice looking counter stools. They seem very sturdy and are comfortable. I took a star off only because the fabric is not quite tight enough and I find I am smoothing out a little wrinkle now and then but I don't think most would find it a dealbreaker. Also, there were a couple of flaws (scratches or little gouges) in the wood on the side of one seat but they are not easily seen and I think with a little bit of sandpaper it will be gone.
