I've had one of these before but this one came packaged MUCH different and better protected. The fountain is easy, all you have to do is hook up the water pump, the only odd thing is once you've dropped the pump into the water, and the cord comes out, the cover that goes on the back has no cutout for the cord, it's just solid, which doesn't really work, but I was able to get it to stay, just not able to put the screw back in the way it arrived. This triple rock column fountain is a bird watcher's dream. Each column has a small depression that holds just enough water for the local birds to drink from and play in. The natural beauty of real rock with the added durability and lighter weight of glass fiber reinforced concrete makes this kit a beautiful addition to any yard.

An elegant basin, the “bird bath” style bowl on the top of the rock holds about an inch of water which gently cascades over the sides and back into the reservoir.

This is a beautiful water feature. We shopped around for a "rock or stone" style of fountain kit for awhile. At first we were looking for a real pillar rock fountain, with three pillars. We soon found out that we were looking at $1500.00 to $3000.00 for one with "real" rocks. That is more than we can afford at this time. Then we found this. We looked at several retailers on-line. We watched videos too. For $500.00 we are really happy with this kit. wayfair had the best price hands down. The rock doesn't look as "real" brand new right out of the box. Don't get me wrong, it looks good. However, once it gets rained on and weathered it does look real. The other benefit to this, other than being a complete kit, is the weight. At 40 pounds for the stone, it is super easy to install AND if we want to adjust the orientation of the stone we can easily rotate it to exactly the position that we want, any time we want to do it. The reservoir kit and pump look great. Everything is included. This fountain fits our needs EXACTLY. We recommend it and we'd buy one again. EDIT: September 2026. We just bought this fountain AGAIN! It really is a beautiful fountain. Our original fountain is still going strong, with the original pump. We live in the Pacific Northwest, so we have a little green moss growing on the sides. The sound it makes is terrific. The birds LOVE it! The first fountain was for our back yard. This new one is going to be in our front yard, as our front yard is getting a complete landscaping makeover. If you are on the fence about buying this fountain, all I can suggest is to just buy it! this garden fountain was fairly pricey, even when it went on sale, but the uniqueness of the design was worth the purchase price. I have set it up in my front yard with LED spot lights and it looks absolutely fabulous! The body of the fountain looks like it is made with resin and some sort of mesh support with some areas looking fairly thin. However, there is no leakage anywhere.
