The planter that I got was great quality. I did not get the one that I ordered. Wayfair sent me another set and it still was not the right planter. I went ahead and kept them anyway and painted them the color that I ordered. I ordered the one that is pictured here, the black and tan one and I got brown and tan. Very disappointed. I’m giving a four because Wayfair did send me another set, although they were wrong. I was able to keep the first set. I painted all four of them. They are beautiful. This is because the water level will always drop to the top of the overflow drain. Your plant will then absorb the water as needed. If you're worried about underwatering and/or if it's hard to tell if the plant is dry, then we recommend watering frequently to avoid any chance of underwatering. That ensures there is always water available in the reservoir. Just make sure the drainage plug is removed so that the water does not overfill the reservoir, potentially causing watering-logging and root rot.

These planters are great! Tall and sleek. The black wicker look is really pretty. It comes in a set of two. I haven’t gotten to plant the flowers yet. But I was so happy to see that the planters each came with an 11x11x8 insert. This will be so nice for planting and changing out flowers rather than having to get dirt all over the patio.
