I ordered this black rectangular coffee table in the smaller size (39.4”) to fit in with our L-shaped couch. The table arrived well packaged and the assembly instructions are okay, but there is not much to assemble, so it was easy to do. It took about 20 minutes to assemble the table by myself. The table also comes with an Allen wrench for the assembly. The metal base is very sturdy and the pieces all fit together nicely. There are 4 rubber base protector screws to keep the table from sliding and damaging non-carpet flooring. The table top is made out of a laminated material and not solid wood.
