On the surface this seems like a great deal: Big solid-core doors for less than $1,000 with hardware included. That isn’t a terrible deal at all, but the description of the product and the installation process is very misleading. It implies that this is basically just a disassembled pre-hung door frame that you simply have to reconnect and install, but there’s A LOT more work that needs to be done for it to actually function properly. The doors come without bore holes for the handles and locks and do not have cutouts for the hinges. The instructions (pictures included) are super simple and make it seem like you only need a few basic tools to get the job done. I would up having to buy a lot more tools to complete the project, because I needed to install things like the handles and the locks for the door to work, as I would assume most of us would. It’s also important to check your doors to make sure everything is decent quality. Mine had significant gaps around the glass plate trims that I had to fill and dents from shipping (pictures included). Customer service from the manufacturer is only kind of helpful. While they respond within one business day, they only offered to send me a touch-up kit vs. new doors since they said shipping damage didn’t impact the functionality of the pieces. I wasn't thrilled with this solution since it didn't address the poor packaging. Finally, make sure you’re getting what you ordered. The first time I purchased from this company I bought 10-lite clear glass doors and received one of those and one barn door. They didn’t have any more 10-lite doors in stock, so I had to return the entire order. Overall I’m ok with the finished product, but if I knew that it would take this much time and effort I probably would have spent more money to buy something that was easier to install. I would also recommend to the manufacturer to provide much more detailed instructions so people fully understand what they need to install the doors properly. I recently installed this Interior 1-Lite Frost Glass Bathroom Door, and it honestly made a bigger difference than I expected. My old door felt bulky and outdated, so switching to this one instantly made the bathroom area look cleaner and more modern. The frosted glass is probably my favorite part. It lets light pass through, which makes the space feel brighter, but still gives enough privacy. I was a little worried about that at first, but once it was up, it felt just right not too transparent, not too dark either. The door itself feels solid and well-made. It doesn’t feel flimsy when opening or closing, and the finish looks smooth and clean. I also like that it came primed, so it was easy to match it with the rest of my trim after painting. The white design is simple, but it actually works with pretty much any style. Installation took some effort, especially making sure everything lined up properly, but that’s pretty normal for doors. I replaced my old blind bi fold that came with my condo to these updated ones. It fit properly and looks nice. The only issue I had with them were they were so heavy for me to install myself - I had to hire a contractor to put them up which cost more money than the closets unfortunately!
