These were slightly overpriced, in my opinion, but ultimately exactly what we needed--we had a height restriction, as well as a desired depth--and are serving us nicely. Assembly note: you have to drill holes in the doors, for the hinges, and I was a little worried that was going to lead to issues, but it worked out fine...I didn't have to adjust the doors at all, really (maybe I got lucky). Otherwise, these look great and do their job admirably! (tip: I used some of the cardboard from the box to support them on the carpet...without it, they weren't sitting quite straight / evenly). This cabinet is just the right fit for what we are using it for, a liquor cabinet. The color is gorgeous and the size just right. However it isn’t quite as stable as I would like so we might try to attach it to the wall if possible. Also, while moving the shelves, be aware that the little silver things that hold them up can fall causing the other shelf to fall if you move them. Going to look for better hardware for that. We just moved into our house and removed some old wooden shelving in the laundry room that was falling apart. We replaced it with several of these units, and they’ve been great—easy to clean, surprisingly sturdy, and very affordable. The only downside is that they were pretty challenging to assemble, so keep that in mind. But overall, they were absolutely worth it. We’re using them to store all of our cleaning supplies and household essentials, and they’ve made the space much more functional. Also the knobs aren’t in line with each other - a bit crooked. OK..Well I went back and forth with cabinets...Studied them all for days, and tried to remove the ones I found that were metal. I wanted 6 shelves, and these were taller than the rest and matched the Wonston Porter drawers that I purchased days before, so I thought they would be the same. BUT THEY ARE METAL. My husband was the one who assembled this, and he did have to disassemble it and try again because something wasn’t lining up correctly the first time. Looks great, sturdy, but overengineered in some places while underengineered in others. The good part: 1) Looks great 2) Lots of storage space 3) Can move shelves around to create bigger/smaller spaces The bad: 1) Assembly took forever. I don't understand why you need three screws for each hinge door and then three additional screws to attach to the side panel for EACH hinge. Two is the standard for a reason. 2) Don't understand why most of the screws are black, the door stoppers are brown, and the magnets and door screws are silver.
