Although the baselegs I received aren’t the same brassy color I was expecting them to be, these are very well made bar stools. They did take around 30 minutes to assemble each one. These are great and very comfortable! If I had one criticism it would be to ignore the instructions when it says to tighten the legs to the foot rail to 100%. Definitely put all screws in (legs to seat and legs to foot rail) at 50%, then align and tighten the legs to the seat to 100% BEFORE you tighten the foot rail..otherwise you will not be able to align the chair legs in a way that minimizes the gaps between the parts, creating pinch points for fingers when scooting in your chair. Ordered 2 sets for our new kitchen island. They seem very sturdy. I took off one star for the damaged legs. They were package nicely in foam so not sure it’s a quality control issue or if they did get damaged in transit. I’m putting socks on the legs anyway so it’s fine. Would buy again very comfy..
