The cellular shades really are a great choice. They have no lift cords and are easy to raise and lower with a light touch. The top can be lowered to see over the shade fabric as desired, while still offering comfort with privacy, insulation for lower utility bills, and sound absorption.

Not bad! Looks just like the photo in the description. Measured 100 times before I ordered. There is more of a gap towards the bottom right than top. At the top, both sides start at about 34” gap. At the bottom, the right gap ends up being about 1 ¼” and the left about ½”. Mounting was easy as I had slatted blinds, so I just popped those off and replaced the brackets for the new ones - a quick Google search and YouTube video helped. Took about 30 minutes by myself..
