This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again.. This versatile modern shelf serves as both storage and display unit. Featuring adjustable multi-level tiers, it allows flexible height setup for various belongings. Lightweight but heavy-duty, the rack is easy to assemble and stays stable in daily use. Boasting a wide, substantial silhouette without bulky bulk, it delivers delicate texture with simple minimalist styling, perfectly fitting living rooms, offices and any interior space.

This book shelf was easy to construct. It took one person approximately an hour to assemble. The instructions were clear and simple to follow. All of the hardware and tools were included. We chose to not put the backing on it because we like the brick aesthetic of the hearth. It is sturdy and would hold up with all the shelves filled. We recommend this product. Debbie. Add a touch of rustic style to your living room or bedroom with this freestanding bookcase, a great way to keep your home a bit more organized. At 31" tall and 32" wide, it's the perfect height to fit under a window. It has a slender black metal frame that supports three shelves crafted from solid pine wood with a warm brown finish, bringing both modern and industrial styles together. These shelves offer lots of space for books, framed photos, and other décor. Bonus: A wall anchor is included for extra safety and stability.

This is a great sturdy and handsome piece of furniture. Made of beautiful hard wood and metal frame. The finish is a little darker than I thought it would be, but still a perfect match for my bedroom, where I use it for my computer, printer and other items. There are adjustable feet at the bottom of the four legs, in case your floor is uneven, etc. This is a really nice piece. Unlike some other folks here who left reviews, mine does not have any strange or strong scent. It smells completely fine and normal. Everything came well packaged, with just the right amount of packing materials. There was a slight (very small) chip on the very bottom of the shelf I used on the bottom. Not from shipping, likely a small defect in manufacturing. They offered me a 15% discount and I accepted. I turned that shelf to face the back and I am satisfied. Follow the simple set-up instructions and you will be all set!. Greg. Dennis Port, MA. Sun Aug 23 2026

This 2-Tier Bookcase balance classic, modern and farmhouse home décor style. It will perfectly fit in your home office, living room, library and study room for books and documents storage. It will also fit in your kitchen, hallway and other place you would like to have something in organization. The bookcase is not pure white, the surface is wook-like pattern, and it attached very well on the board. The touch feeling is smooth, and it will be stain-resistant, just wipe with wet cloth could take good care of it.

I only deed the 2 shelf bookcase. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It looks nice. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is particle board with a sort of paper veneer, almost like Contac paper. I’m pretty sure that it will scratch easily and if you put anything wet on it, it will ruin the surface. I guess it is okay for the price.. Katherine. Arroyo Grande, CA. Thu May 21 2026

This horizontal bookcase brings smart storage and a modern aesthetic to your space. It's crafted from solid rubberwood, highlighting visible woodgrain for added depth across the clean-lined frame. Five open compartments give you plenty of room to organize books, framed photos, and decorative accents without cluttering up your home. The polished corners provide a smooth finish, while a gloss coating gives the surface a sleek look that effortlessly handles everyday use. It features a finished back panel, so it looks great from any angle. Plus, the smooth, waterproof surface makes cleaning a breeze.

Great low profile bookcase - well made , sturdy, all wood. Assembly was pretty easy - take your time but you’ll need a couple of screw drivers ( flat and Phillipshead) besides the tool they send. It is quite nicely serving as a tv stand for a 40” tv. Good storage and looks nice . Would highly recommend. I ordered two and will be ordering more.. Mary. Fernandina Beach, FL. Mon Sep 28 2026

A contemporary update on a traditional design, this solid wood etagere bookcase features two shelves, x-frame side braces, and an open back design. For a classic arrangement in your living room, start by rolling out a paisley area rug for a pop of pattern, then arrange an oversized leather sofa with nailhead trim and a tonal striped wingback chair around a polished wood coffee table with wrought iron sides. Place this design against the wall beside your television stand and use one shelf to store your DVD collection, and the other to display your favorite reads. Love this bookcase it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. It was relatively easy to put together by myself, but when I got to the very top shelf, I didn’t have the right screws. They sent me the wrong ones but luckily, I looked in my toolbox and I found screws that fit and I was able to finish putting it together. It’s a nice little bookcase for the price. I love shopping at WAYFAIR.. Kathryn. Chicago, IL. Sun Sep 13 2026
