We purchased an unfinished Haelynn solid wood 2-door corner cabinet. The cabinet arrived sooner than expected and was well-packaged, so there was no damage. This pine cabinet has soft-close hinges. The right door has a strip that eliminates a gap when the doors are closed (close the right door first). The top is made of strips of wood pieced together but looks good. To finish, we sanded with 180 grit sandpaper, then applied wood conditioner, golden oak Minwax stain, four coats of Minwax warm satin polyurethane with a brush, then finished with one coat of wipe-on poly, sanding with 320 grit sandpaper between coats of poly. Bought a bunch of these cabinets from this company, and the quality seems to be great. It's definitely not what I had expected. Just note - with this specific piece, the assembly guide was only instructions, nothing visual. It took 4 hours to assemble as there weren't any pre-drilled holes and you just had to figure it out (which I did by watching YouTube videos of other people assembling a similar type of piece). So I'm going to give this 5 stars because I bought this with a bunch of other cabinet bases for my kitchen. The quality is great, but the instructions for them is not the best. The holes are not predrilled, and the instructions are not clear either. On top of it, the lazy susan did not come shipped with this, so I had to call Wayfair and send pictures for them to send me the lazy susan so I can actually utilize this piece. Like it was made for us! (When we rarely have that luck lol). Quality - good. A notch above most fiberboard with a nice resilient paint finish. Build difficulty - easy if you have built plenty of furniture items. First time builders might find moderate difficulty.... be careful and use a little help. A nice cabinet for the money, and the built-in LED lighting is a really nice touch! Was also packaged very securely and did not come with any damage. Tips: be careful hammering those little nails when you put the back panel on because it's very easy to be out of alignment and have them poke through and damage the finish on the interior. Also before you pull your hair out looking for the little magnetic plates that you have to attach to the doors, they're already magnetically attached to the inner magnets. Color accuracy: very good for the mint green. Looks as advertised and luckily was a 90% match for our kitchen. If this piece is a combination of solid wood and manufactured wood, I sure as heck can't tell the difference. It's a SOLID piece that honestly feels like all natural wood. That wasn't the best part. My husband and I recently moved into a new home and elected to not bring any of our furniture from our prior one. Suffice to say, I have been assembling LOTS and LOTS of furniture and accent pieces. Lots! This one was the easiest to assemble to date. Did it myself and I'm in my late 60's. Piece of cake. And the end result was lovely. The ONLY negative I can think to say is that I wish that there was an access hole in the back of the top white exposed shelf. I bought this for underneath a corner mounted TV and wanted the soundbar to go there. No biggie, I'll just get out my drill and make a hole for the power cord to pass thru. Sigh. It's true.
