It was relatively easy to assemble because we had all the parts/pieces, pre-drilled holes were accurate, and we took our time understanding the directions before we built. It was easy enough that after completing the first 3 steps together, I handed it off to my 13 year old to complete. Its a cheap dresser that would not stand up to hard use. But if you can use your furniture gently and arent looking for an heirloom piece, its fine. I love the tall dresser. I gave it 4 stars because the handle was warpedbent and I finally gave up and put on a handle I had from my craft supply stash.
