This is a solid piece and very heavy. Top weighs about 100 lbs on its own. Base is probably close to the same. I had free white glove delivery, but it would be easy to assemble with two pieces and just the screws to connect them. Picture shows 3 of the 4 chairs that I bought from Wayfair also. Very nice table, perfect for temporary use until we find a more permanent table. It took longer to unpack the table than to put it together. We used the 30" pole for the right height for the chairs. No tools needed to assemble the pole has 2 notches to lock in to the top of the table. It would have been nice to have the same notches to lock for the bottom legs too.
