This is beautiful, we get lots of comments on it. And it’s super light and easy to move. The copper at the bottom has changed color from the burning, but the outside is still copper after about 2 years. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that it isn’t a great “family with kids” piece. It gets extremely hot to the touch if you bump your leg on it or touch it anywhere by accident. It works for kids old enough to be weary of the heat, but I would definitely NOT recommend it for families with small kids making s’mores etc. In those cases I would recommend stone, or one with a rim. I've had this fire pit for several years now. I will say, it's held up well for all the abuse I've given it! Some very big, hot fires. I use it for yard/tree debris, and the occasional, sit around the fire with a glass or two of wine. It's been left out in the rain and snow and none the worse for it. My only complaint is the design cut into the metal. A few more connections would have made it better. Some of the deer/antlers have warped, probably from the heat, and are leaning out.
