Came securely packaged and I was able to install it myself. The primer had a rough feel to it so I painted it with the same paint we have on our molding. Installation took maybe 30 minutes and I had to use a drill to attach the brackets, but if you are moderately handy it should be no problem. Added my own handles to match the rest of the kitchen.. Nice wooden plantation doors. I was able to cut them (width with a table saw) make a nice fit. Install is easy, but it's a two person job to get them perfect (one to lift & the other to adjust the height & gaps). They bring a costal feel to the room. I ordered two of these solid core doors for my 1950s home, which has non-standard closet openings. First, these doors are extremely heavy. The quality is great, though. My only real issue is the packaging for shipping.. it isn’t great. Like many others have experienced, my doors arrived damaged. Thankfully, it was limited to a few small dings and scratches, but still enough to be disappointing. All in all, I would recommend them. These are heavy-duty doors, and the quality seems excellent for the price. Just be aware that you’re rolling the dice a bit when ordering as there’s a 5050 chance it will be damaged in transit. NOTE I added a piece of trim to hide the railing above both doors. Yes. The frame in one of my closets is crooked so the install was hell. A home builder problem, not a door problem though.. Daniel. Happy with the quality of these hollow core doors. Packaging was superb and no damage to the doors upon arrival. We installed them as double doors rather than bi-fold. They are a bit shorter and a little narrower than advertised 32"x80", so had to do some adjustments to the door frame, but as a licensed general contractor in VA and DC we are delivering great results to our clients.. The doors are nice quality for the cost, and all hardware was included. Installing and adjusting them in our non-square non-level house was annoying. The instructions were not very clear, but a quick search online for hanging bifold doors is helpful enough. I wish pilot holes would have been drilled for the hinges, but the price is low.
