Pretty well constructed. Everything fit together nicely. Directions are a bit vague at times. But my 16 year old daughter assembled it completely on her own with the tools provided in the kit. Fit and finish is nice. Rather sturdy for a wire cage versus a wrought iron cage. But thats why the price is half of a wrought iron. I bought this gorgeous cage for our budgie. It’s perfect for a small bird. I don’t recommend for the larger and stronger birds because the wires are thin and could be possibly bent. I also would not recommend it for finches due to the bar spacing and the possibility of their tiny heads getting stuck. As another reviewer stated, it’s not a shiny silver, but great. It does appear silver in the light. I love the transparent base that allows me to see my bird even when he’s in the bottom. This cage would be large enough for a pair of parakeets. I purchased the black stand elsewhere because Wayfair only had it in white. It’s easy to assemble with no tools needed. The only improvement I can see is for the manufacturer to as another door on a lower level. The one door is up high. It’s a great cage for the money and looks absolutely gorgeous in our new home.. Love it! The cage came in near-perfect condition. One or two of the bars were a bit bent, but we were able to put them back in place easily. It took maybe half an hour to put together. The cage is really attractive and spacious, and my budgies love it. I'm not a fan of the plastic food and water dishes, but I just ordered stainless steel ones. The birds all love it so far; the door stays open all day, and they've spent quite a bit of time inside so far. Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend.
