I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this cabinet. The structure is incredibly unstable. During assembly, the wooden connectors (dowels) easily snapped, and there were zero spare parts provided in the hardware pack. The worst part is that it is fundamentally unsafe to assemble. When I followed the manuals instruction to lift it up, the entire cabinet completely fell apart and collapsed, resulting in an injury to myself. The bookcase itself pretty good, around 9 stars. But the assembly instructions were poor, around 3 stars. In addition, there were not enough wood dowels included. This book shelf becomes sturdy once assembled, although that process was long and a pain (definitely two people needed). It looks wonderful once it is all set up. So many possibilities on how to display what you want in the cubbies. The only imperfection was the chip in the bottom corner.
