It's almost perfect for where I put it. I have a very high (~12') octagonal window in my bedroom, and it's impossible to find a shade that's right for it. But the sun shines in that window right in my eyes and wakes me up at 6am every morning, so I wanted to cover that window without making it look ridiculous. I have white plantation shutters on the lower windows, so it looks nice with those. The reason I didn't give it a higher rating is because there was a choice between "functional" and "non-functional" versions of this cover, but the terms weren't defined. I assumed they meant that functional has moving slats, and non-functional was slats that don't move. So I ordered the functional version to be sure I could close them all the way But what they meant was that functional has holes between the slats (for allowing airflow in an attic, I guess), and non-functional is solid - no holes. I should have gotten the non-functional version, because it would have blocked all the light. But I couldn't wait another day to get rid of that early morning light, so I just installed it right away and started getting the benefit of blocked light in the morning. This is a great wall decor piece that brings life and color to any wall or room. This one is a half arch. If you wish to put them outside, a very thick coat of sealer will keep them intact. This is handmade out of wood and iron and painted in different layers of paint.

If you wish to put them outside, a very thick coat of sealer will keep them intact. Remember that these are all handmade and will be one of a kind. They are handmade out of reclaimed wood. This one has a shelf that is about 5 inches deep. This window measures about 13W x 31H x5D inches. The photo is a representation of what you will receive, each handmade, unique, and one-of-a-kind but in the same style, design, and colors. These are rustic, handmade, and not "perfectly" machine-made. So keep that in mind. That is their beauty. Size and color tones may vary a bit as each is handmade. This is a beautifully designed stained glass window panel featuring a Victorian design in a semi-circle shape. This panel is made up of over 215 pieces of hand-cut stained art glass and 4 glass beads, each wrapped in a fine copper foil and soldered together at high heat to form each unique shade.
