It took longer than expected to receive the countertop but it arrived in immaculate condition and looks amazing. I put on 3 thin coats of wipe-on water based satin polyurethane to protect it and sanded lightly with steel wool in between coats. Overall the workbench is very well made and extremely sturdy. It was very easy to put together with clear instructions. The only negative is that the top had a small crack at one end and a few other dings right out of the box. They don't impact performance and I'm OK with that. Otherwise the product is great!.
