Easy to put together. The hinge is nice because it holds the lid open and prevents it from slamming down. Sturdy construction and parts do not feel cheap so for the price this is very good. Overall, I like these a lot. I wanted something sturdy and basic in this room which houses my home office because I also have a lot of dumbbells and they were on a weight rack which I found to be somewhat unsightly. I had to deduct a star because I could not get the latches attached to the lid, no matter how hard I tried and the pre-drilled holes for the hinges were really not acceptable. In both of these chests, the middle pre-drilled hole was missing entirely. The others were just barely drilled and so I had to ask a friend to come over and help me get the screws fully screwed in. I am artist and needed some storage to store mat board, frames and framing materials, etc. These material are big and bulky and take up a lot of space. I was able to put most of these materials in this bin. It was easy to put together. My husband used a drill to attach the wheels. It went together in about 30 minutes. My only worry is that because it is plastic and with thee bulk and weight of the materials I put in it that it will “bend” and give. But so far it has not done so. Beautiful piece of furniture. Not too difficult to put together even though the instructions are not as clear as I would have liked.
