File cabinet is a nice piece of furniture but it was a beast to assemble. It took me six hours to assemble it; two of the six hours could have been avoided if I have secured the cabinet to the wall. After assembling the cabinet and placing the folders it was really wobbly, so I decided to secure the cabinet to the wall. Have one at work and I really like it for the design. The bottom drawer is a filing cabinet and you can lock it. Top two drawers are not lockable but I don’t mind because they just have writing utensils etc in them. Everything arrived in good condition and the color is nice. Not too fake looking. On thing to note though. As a women, the bottom drawer is a little hard to open and close with your hands. This is the second cabinet I have purchased and the design has not changed to make it any easier. I just solve that problem with using my foot to close it. This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom.
