A compact, clean-lined buffet that blends classic Shaker styling with everyday storage. We purchased three oak cabinets to make a buffet. All came in perfect shape due to excellent packaging. Instructions are easy to follow pictures, but we found that putting hinges on panels 2 and 3, right from the start made it easier to put doors on at the end, since it’s hard to screw on when everything is put together. The trick at the end is to make sure the hinges are in closed position then place door holes over hinge, as if the door was completely closed. Then slowly open the door and the hinge will be in correct position to screw the remaining screws on door backside. Also double check that panel 5 is in correct position with locking mechanism near panel 4, otherwise you will have the holes of the mechanism on the top side of the shelf when finished and will have to use oak stickers to cover up the silver hardware. Just received this product yesterday, quick shipping. I bought two to replace my nightstands for extra shoe storage. Love the color. Sturdy and heavy. I put them together by myself, took about 3hrs. Doors are a little complicated to adjust to get them perfectly even but with a little patience and tweeking (as noted in the directions) they turned out great. Other photos show gaps in the doors when closed or not even when installed. There is a way to adjust these one hanging easily but the reviewers must not have followed these last directions. We absolutely love this sideboard. Firstly the color is beautiful. We got the blue one that has a periwinkle touch to it which matches the blue tones of our kitchen. The size is perfect for a kitchen with limited space in which you would like to display dishware or use for general storage. The drawer on the bottom is perfect for flat objects such as cutting boards or baking trays. Unfortunately the cabinet only comes with one shelf with limited adjustment but it still suits our intended use as a display cabinet while providing extra counter top space for appliances in our kitchen.. The cabinet is an inexpensive piece and the quality is reflective of that, but it works for what I needed. It looks just like it does online. There was about 1000 pieces to put together. My husband and I built it in about an hour and a half. Be aware that the cabinets are rounded and open out more to the side than directly forward -if you’re trying to fit it into a tight space, that could be an issue. I have not had the cabinet for very long, but all in all, I am satisfied with what I got for the price paid. I like the vintage look of it for my record player.. Anonymous. Mon May 11 2026
