Great table! Super easy to assemble plus expand/contract (two switches to flip then pull out). It is quite heavy too be fair but that makes the extension more stable I think. This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . We werent sure about the table, other than knowing we wanted to downsize from what we had, when closed, 60 closed is perfect. And able to fit our family, without a cousins folding table for holidays. The look and feel of the table are beyond expectations! Guests have noted how spacious the room feels and how beautiful the table is. We thought the height, top specifically, might be a little high, however everyone who has sat there says its perfect. Some being around 54. Assembly would move faster with 2 people, most was done with one. It is a fairly heavy piece. The bench and blue chairs we added when we purchased the table.. Tp. NY. Mon Oct 19 2026

For the price so far, so good. I find it hilarious that the ribbed wood pedestal is Velcrod to the table But it looks fine enough for my purposes. I bought the table more for looks, as it will rarely be used. Still, its very decent quality (as much quality as you can get from MDF and veneer), and seems sturdy with the extra middle support. Id say it seats 8 comfortably. If you have slimmer profile chairs, you could squeeze in 10 tightly.. Heather. Sacramento, CA. Fri Aug 28 2026

Nice table. Well made, solid wood. Arrived with a few dings and scratches, decided to live with them rather than going through the hassle of returning. BUT my biggest issue is the color. Much more red than I was expectingthe pictures. Espresso is not the right name for the finish. It is very much a cherry finish. Was hoping for a cooler tone based on the images to go with my chairs, but cest la vie. Lauren. Brooklyn, NY. Sun Oct 30 2022

Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. It’s really nice for the price, but smaller than expected. It looks like solid wood, but the dimensions provided were false. The unextended length is 47 in and with extension only 59in. I expected 59- 70in. I ended up keeping it cause It looks good in my small room and it would be too much hassle to return it. Also the price was pretty good. It came the next day I ordered it..
