It’s all metal so in addition to being easy to keep clean it’ll be stain resistant and it looks so sleek. My current kitchen table is buried under seedlings for my garden so until I can get them planted the table is in the room where my grands stay when they come to visit. Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that.
