I now own 4 of these trees, use them as a screen between my back deck (outside) and my neighbor's. They are incredibly lifelike. Upon opening there is a faint odor that dissipates after a few days. Trees come very well packaged, and though "branches" are bent you can reshape them. The height is only attainable with the highest branch straighened. The pots naturally collect some rainwater, so I use mosquito donuts to prevent insect infestation. I’m really happy with this faux eucalyptus tree! It was fairly easy to put together, although a few of the branch labels were missing, so I had to use a little process of elimination to figure out where some pieces connected. Even with that minor inconvenience, assembly didn’t take very long. One thing that surprised me was how large it is. The tree itself makes a great statement piece, and even the black pot it comes in is a nice size. If you don’t already have a decorative planter, the included pot looks nice enough to use on its own. When I unpacked it, there was very minimal shedding of leaves and debris, which was a pleasant surprise since artificial trees can sometimes make a mess. After fluffing out the branches, it looked full and realistic. I recently had family over for the weekend, and several people commented on how much they loved the decor and asked about the tree. I know these faux plants can be hit and miss, this one's pretty good. It's a little top heavy once you have all the branches spread out a bit (with time the branches should 'relax' into a more tree-like shape) & while the concrete base is pretty sturdy, the couple of times I bumped the top it toppled over. Nothing that weighting the container can't fix. They do give you a little bag of moss to cover the concrete that shows in the container, I may get more or use bark or some other material to fill out the container. 10 feet is really tall! I am disappointed that the top section of my tree is not straight, so that when attached to the bottom, the tree does not stand erect but slants noticeably. Just the tree I was looking for. Its huge and full. It is natural looking and already came in a big pretty pot. It has many branches and a lot of leaves. The color of the leaves and stems are muted and realistic looking. The trunk and branches have a bark texture to it. The top of the pot has a faux green moss to make it look clean and complete.
