3piece Cheyenne Twin Over Full Bunk Bed

Combining classic style with a sleek modern look, this bed is made for today's youth. The bunk bed is made of pinewood and offers extra room for guests or siblings, featuring a twin bed over a full bed. The headboard and footboard have a curved slat detail with sturdy square posts. The ladder is not built-in and the heavy, duty slats will support a mattress without needing a bunkie board. Made to withstand, the beds have a 400 lb static weight limit for each bunk surface.

The assembly went decently well. My DIL put it together with my granddaughter holding pieces once in awhile. Took about 8 hours. Hint: do not tighten down until it is assembled, including the ladder. Update: They still love the bed, and I thought i'd add a picture. The wood is more like a rustic whitewash. It doesn't look as well as the picture and who ever shipped it, left it in the rain. The box was falling apart, and luckily I found it and took every piece in by hand, and dried them off. No damage done, but It was unnecessary to leave it like that in the rain when they could have left it next door at my parent's who have an over covering on their porch. Both DIL and granddaughter got on top bunk. It felt sturdy and didn't move around. We did get a bunky board for top because mattress is foam. The girls love it and are having fun putting their dolls and stuffys around. Very unhappy with delivery. Boxes falling apart. Fed ex stood one up at bottom of deck stairs. We are having g sporadic thunder storms. No plastic was place around packages, so the box fell apart and all the wooden pieces fell and were rained on. I had a mess! I had to remove one piece at a time into home and dry it off. It took a couple people a few hours dealing with two wet opened boxes. The bed was poorly packaged and fed ex left a mess! Beautiful! I did pay for assembly and one person came and assembled it by himself but it took a couple hours and I had to help lift the top bunk up. It’s pretty sturdy. Very nice piece for the price. I really like the features of the bunkbed and the size fits our space perfectly. The shelves are nice and the LED strips are cool for the bottom bunk. However, some flaws - The product is advertised as real wood, but the only real wood is the 4-post frame and bed slats. The sides and shelving are particleboard and thus are cheaper material. - Because it’s not 100 real wood I think it’s overpriced, but in the end would probably buy it again because of the shelving feature and the size fit our space perfectly. - LED strips only extend two sides of the frame and you can only control them with an app on your phone! (No remote!!) - The bottom drawer is very shallow and barely holds anything, maybe a couple of books. It also isn’t on a track so it slides all over the place. We ended up not using it. - The shelves are shallow and hold small fidget toys and water bottles. New purchase and will have to follow up on durability however it seems sturdy thus far (first use was last night and no issues - I slept on lower with both kids). Giving 45 due to just one use thus far and that. Came in three boxes with only a tiny bit of damage on one of the trundle storage drawers. Was nice that it came with two sets of directions so that the two of us were both able to reference things at the same time. Not sure if we are extremely slow or if it’s because we were working in a 10x10 room but this took us over 3 hours to put together. There are a few parts in the directions that were a bit difficult to see the details on the photos or they just weren’t referenced and are super important later on - specifically the holes on the bottom piece of the ends to the full which is one of the first things you put together - needs to line up with the curve so that the ladder can be placed properly - also the that whole part in relation to the stoppers for the trundle so that you have the trundle and ladder in the correct places. The stoppers aren’t stained and do show when the bed is put together - not a dealbreaker but a bit annoying. Doesn’t come with spare parts so make sure you’ve got a box - does come with Allen keys but they aren’t in the first bag you use. We did a final tightening on everything once in place and is sturdy. My kids loved this. If you're looking for floor bed frames, this is great. The bunk above is the perfect height. It definitely does take two people to assemble, so keep that mind, but it's worth it. The only thing I wish could have been better is the "windows" It's just canvas fabric. If it was solid wood or plastic would give it more a polish look. I'd still recommend though, fantastic deal..
