White peacocks have been kept at the Netherlands' Staverden Castle since the year 1400 when the Duke of Gueire lent his lavish forest home only under the condition that it still keeps white peacocks to provide feathers for his helmet. The peacock feathers are now presented annually to the Commissioner of the Queen in Gelderland. Sculpted atop a gloriously arched urn, this exclusive still-proud peacock statue was sculpted almost a yard high and cast in quality designer resin in an antique stone finish. We called him "Spot". I had just cut down a tree, and was left with a 2' stump in the middle of our yard. We ordered this amazing dragon. I cut a notch in the stump with a chainsaw, and "Spot" had a home. Over the course of the years, the stump rotted away, and finally Spot was taken down by a storm. We'll miss him. He gave our home character.. Richard. Jackson, MI. Wed Sep 30 2026

I am a huge fan of iron art, and I love the phoenix. Not a normal yard art statue that you would find. Lots of egrets, herons, and peacocks. So when I saw this, I was absolutely thrilled. And when it arrived, even more so as the colors are absolutely brilliant. The pieces were very well packaged with bubblewrap and cardboard to avoid damage in transit. It was very easy to assemble and doesn't appear to easy come apart. They even included a "U" shaped stake to help keep it in place. The color is candy-apple (metallic-semi translucent), and the details are three dimensional, not just painted on, which makes it even more special. I absolutely recommend this piece.. Kimberly.
