For the price it is worth it. The assembly was a little difficult with getting the screws to go for the second and third shelf, while trying to hold the pieces in place to line up the holes. The holes are very tight fitting, so a couple of screws almost didn't go in. I was on the floor using my all my limbs to do get this thing together. I had a ratchet allen wrench to do this assembly, if not, it wouldn't have worked out. I can understand why some people gave up. Forget trying to use the allen wrench that comes with it. It's very sturdy once together. There were two tiny chips off of the paint on one piece, but I can fix that. Overall, it works perfectly for displaying my pottery, so I like it.. Lucia. Arrived in original box so it was not packed inside another delivery box. I was concerned that the glass or other parts would be damaged but the foam protected the glass shelves. I would recommend this item be mailed with protective packaging though. Otherwise the quality is fair. The “metal” components including the hardware is a plastic/metal composite but seems durable. FINAL UPDATE they ended up sending a replacement but I didn’t think it would ever be resolved because it took over a month and a half for the replacement to arrive. I’m pleased that the replacement arrived unbroken, but it seems to be more a matter of chance as the box was very damaged as well as the packing medium, thankfully the product is ok. For something as delicate as this, they should be shipping in better and safer containers in my opinion. That whole experience is why I removed star. The actual product, when received unbroken, is elegant and nice and functional. Initial review Arrived broken, it was shipped in one piece with just a little piece of bubble wrap around it so I already suspected it would be cracked and broken before taking it out of the box.
