Exactly what I needed to cover up a large hole in my ceiling when I installed a new light fixture. Corner blocks are used with casing mouldings in the top corners around door frames or around the four corners of windows. It adds great architectural detail to your room and is ideal when you want to achieve a different look from metering. Use a corner block with Ornamental Mouldings casings. Pair with the style plinth block at the bottom of the door where the casing meets the baseboard, an ideal solution to using thin casing with a thicker baseboard.

If you order it in the winter, let it warm up to room temperature so you can work with it. The first step on the staircase was missing its trim and cutting a new one was not prohibitive so I bought this trim. It matches with the wood cove already in the house. I only used enough for around the curve and continued with wood cove. The instructions recommend using construction adhesive and nails so installation was easy.
