Although this is a slightly lower-tier model than my previous one, the price was about the same. I bought my old one in-store, but it’s really hard to find this specific brand and model from other suppliers right now. Plus, from my experience, other places usually have slow shipping. Since I needed it urgently, I went with Wayfair again based on my previous good experiences, hoping for fast delivery. I placed the order on Thursday afternoon, and it arrived right around noon today (Monday). The delivery was smooth and remembering how well all my previous Wayfair orders were delivered, I really want to thank everyone involved, including the supplier. I love this sewing machine. It sews beautifully. It is lightweight. The carrying handle makes it easy to transport. The instruction manual is well-written. It is such a good machine for a beginner. The presser feet snap on and off. Wow, so easy to change the feet. I'm obsessed with the automatic needle threader. I struggled at first, but kept practicing. Soon it became like second nature using the needle threader. I followed the manual and practiced many stitches. Single and zigzag stitches look great. The thread cutter is a game changer. These two items make sewing a breeze. I wish the presser foot was metal. It's cheap lightweight plastic. In order to keep it from sliding on the floor, I have to put a computer mouse pad underneath it. Just as stated in other reviews, no cover included. If you have the opportunity, purchase a warranty. I had a problem taking the bobbin out of the bobbin casing. This machine is not listed on the Janome website. No luck finding a solution from Janome. It was so frustrating. Fortunately, I fixed it. Because the machine was not purchased through an authorized dealer, the Janome warranty is VOID. WHAT!!! I've deducted one star because they should be transparent about the warranty.
