They are also great for containing the ground cover, forming sections within a yard or space and preventing wildlife or pets from getting access to vegetables or other delicate plants and flowers. The durable polyethylene plastic construction makes Dackers virtually maintenance free. There's no need to paint and they will last against the harsh outdoor elements. In fact, the polyresin used to craft each Dackers fence is BPA- and phthalate-free as well as FDA-approved for contact with edibles, making them some of the safest fencing borders you can buy. Installation is easy with the staked posts that you insert into the ground so you can avoid digging holes or pouring concrete. Was pretty easy to put together. Didn't take very long and we did it outside on a windy day. What took longer was getting the stakes into the ground. Our "soil" is mainly rocks and clay so had to dig with a shovel until we got the rocks out. That took maybe 2 hours. Someone younger would be faster. My husband is 82 with a heart condition and I'm 79 with a bad back. Note: we bought 3 panels to help protect the outdoor part of our AC mini split from getting snow shoveled up against it. We are very happy with it so far.. Anna E Zadra. Biwabik Mn. Sat Oct 03 2026
