Smaller hands make assembly a bit easier since some of the connections are in not easily assessable areas. The long and medium bolts are the same length! The Allyn wrench provided is too long, so used a smaller one I had that worked better for me. We roll it back and forth every day when we connect our portable dishwasher to the sink and there are no problems with the wheels or any other part of the cart. I inadvertently switched the shelves when I put it together, but that works fine for us. The wood top has held up really well and we've been able to remove any stains with a little bit of bleach kitchen cleanser. Beautiful island especially for the price! It took me 40 mins to put together alone and 9 months pregnant, but for any regular person it would take much less time! The stainless steel is obviously not heavy duty and I see it getting scratched in the very near future but that doesn’t bother me, especially at the price point it’s at.
