Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. It can be used on its own or attached to cover a chain link fence for added beauty and privacy. They are inexpensive and easy to install. Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. The bamboo slats we use are about 1/2" wide. They are packed in a roll for convenience in shipping and setting up. We bought this Door22 system to close off a washer and dryer area located in a hallway directly in plain sight from our living room. Therefore keeping the space modern and sleek was very important for us. So we needed something modern and full-glass - not heavy looking like a lot of other options out there. This one checked all the boxes! Delivery & Packaging: FedEx dropped off a boxes with literally footprints on it . Thankfully, the glass was perfect! The packaging was fantastic - thick foam, reinforced corners, every panel wrapped individually, and even the aluminum frames had that peel-off film like new electronics. It felt very high-end and protected. Installation: The directions are fine, but the QR code video was a lifesaver. It’s not a complicated install, just pay attention when lining up the top and bottom tracks that’s all. Also, get your silicone and a laser level ready.
