I am using it as an exterior door from a breezeway into my garage. It is perfect to keep the door shut when I have the dog in there with me. It's only 1 3/8 thick and pine, so you are getting what you pay for. I took it to a door shop to have the holes drilled for the lock sets, and for the hinges. We totally love the new hallway doors! They have replaced 1980s louver doors and make the entry now feel so contemporary and up-to-date. Yes, we relied on our local contractor to install them, as they needed to be trimmed to fit the existing height requirement. The cost of the doors and labor together were well-worth it, though -- our contractor is sending a picture of the doors to other clients, as they are sure to be a popular replacement in our condo community. :).
