This will be my second cover for outside table. My table is over 3 years old and putting this cover on protects it and this new one has an insulation layer. The sun can be brutal on these covers but I hope this one lasts for 3 years like the last. Since I have a square table and 4 chairs, I use pool noodles to top the back of the chairs, arms and corners of the table so as not to rip when it gets raining hard and fills up with water!! I just purchased this cover for my patio table. I had to get one that measured 48” as there was not a 42” the diameter of the table I just purchased form Wayfair. The cover is quite substantial and I am ok that it is a little big. It does have ties to secure it to the legs of the table, when there is wind.
