Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. I absolutely love this desk. Obviously at this price, it is not going to be solid wood. It’s made of particle board in China but it looks so much nicer. Some pieces were a little dinged on the edges, but none of that shows once it’s built. I have it next to a high quality dresser in my bedroom and it fits right in. I love that the top lifts to a standing desk when needed. My husband assembled it on his own and knocked it out pretty quickly. He’s an angel. I would not have enjoyed the process, but he found it very easy. Wayfair shipped it quickly. The only major annoyance is that they used FedEx and my FedEx driver is too lazy to take it out of the truck to deliver it. My Ring camera caught him on two consecutive days coming to my door to take a picture of my empty porch. He didn’t knock or ring and I got notified that delivery was attempted but no one was home. I am very happy with this desk. I wanted something that wasn't too large but still offered shelves and storage for my parrots' toys and other supplies. The desktop is also large enough to hold my paper roll dispenser, which was important to me. The two drawers are surprisingly roomy and are perfect for storing smaller items like a tape measure, scissors etc. I also liked that you could choose between installing hooks or the fabric side pocket. I went with the pocket, but it's nice to have the option. Assembly was straight forward, and all of the hardware bags and parts were clearly labeled, making the process easy to follow. While it's marketed as a desk, it's versatile enough for many other uses. As you can see, it works great as a parrot station with plenty of storage while still maintaining a small footprint.
