It is a nice curtain rod and extends really long so it is great for a variety of window sizes. The rod itself is just a basic metal that has been painted a faux wood finish but the finials are really pretty and solid. This curtain rod comes with multiple pieces that screw together so that you can adjust the length and the brackets to hold the rod are painted to match. I got these to go with the kitchen curtains I purchased and I'm a single older lady who lives alone and because you can stick these on I was able to easily put these up by myself. I was surprised how many rods came with it as it can extend to a pretty decent width (I only needed to add one extra rod for the window).
