The packaging was simple and easy to open, which I appreciated right away. Unlike some boxed mattresses that practically explode the moment the plastic is cut, this one expands in a much calmer and safer way. It slowly drew in air and took about two hours to really look like a mattress, then continued settling overnight until it reached its full shape. Comfort wise, this mattress definitely lives up to its extra firm description. It has very little give, yet feels supportive rather than hard. The breathable foam construction also helps it feel comfortable through the night. I chose the 10” thick version and think it would be especially good for a bunk bed, daybed, trundle, RV, or guest room where a dependable low profile mattress is needed. Nice quality but be aware that the "aqua" is not actually aqua. It is closer to a denim blue. No greenish hue at all. The quality of the mattress itself is good. Definitely use a mattress protector under sheets before allowing guests to sleep on it. The cover has a zipper but it is not removable and can only be spot cleaned. It is decently comfortable.
