The sofa itself is really nice. It's a perfect light beige color. Fabric is nice. It's really stiff, which I personally prefer.. I assume it will break in too though. The main thing I wanted to come here and say is that "white glove" or "full service" delivery is such a waste of money. It was free this time, so I went with it, but I said to my wife, it'll probably come damaged.. because what they do is assemble it at a local warehouse and load it wrapped in a blanket on the truck like movers would. Sure enough, it came damaged, smashed in on one side. Also the "movers" had the white cushions stacked in the middle of the street barely teetering on a blanket... any decent breeze or car driving by and they'd have been filthy. Wayfair is sending a new one so that's fine, but for the hassle, I'd rather have it delivered in the box.. this one is literally the main base, 4 cushions and then 4 feet.. anyone could assemble it. Update: Wayfair sent a new one, this time had dirty stains all along the front of the cushion like it was dropped on the warehouse floor. Assembly was straightforward, it feels sturdy, and the corduroy fabric is soft and attractive. I also appreciate that the cushion covers unzip for easy washing. I did try sleeping on it, but the armrests are very hard, making it less comfortable for overnight use. Because it doesn't function as a sofa bed as described and isn't ideal for sleeping, I'm giving it 4 stars. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area.
