I am impressed with the strength, design and finish of this Yakota Wood 3 drawer dresser. The drawers have a support bar underneath which will keep the bottom of the drawer from popping out, so long as you don’t overstuff the drawer. The dresser is surprisingly heavy. These dressers are nice, simple dressers. When I received them in the box one had a chip on the corner but the damage was minimal and they were all very dusty with this thick dust powder. I am 68 yo and dragged the heavy box upstairs by myself. Then I proceeded to put the chest together by myself. The directions are Terrible! Using phone to enlarge pictures ( no words!!!) which serve as directions made note to self to let Wayfair know of my dissatisfaction. After a few mistakes, I completed my task and finished the job. I love the quality and look! But this is a small chest! I am using as a night stand! It’s just right size as a table by the bedside. It’s heavy, and many locking and support pieces make this a decent and not cheap looking night stand. The drawers open and close smoothly! This took me two days to figure out the install for balancing/ turning for best way to connect the back and sides.The rails were also confusing as the pics were too small. Arrived quickly and was packaged well. Parts had no damage on them from delivery which was a plus. Assembly was pretty simple, I did it myself (34F). I saw a lot of mixed reviews mentioning misaligned drawers and bad pre-drilled holes, but that wasnt my experience at all. While assembly was definitely time-consuming and tedious, it was pretty straightforward, and everything aligned perfectly for me. The kit does come with a Phillips head screwdriver, but like most pre-packed furniture tools, the handle isnt very comfortable. If you dont have a nicer screwdriver already, Id recommend getting one because your hand will hurt after driving so many screws. I used a cordless screwdriver, which made driving screws into the areas without pre-drilled holes a lot easier, though you could definitely manage without one. The color and dimensions are 100 accurate to the product description online. However, as other reviews have noted, the drawers are on the shallow side. More importantly, the drawer slides are set up so the drawers do not pull out all the way. There is a good 4 to 5 inches per drawer that stays inside the unit when fully opened. I think this is probably a safety feature to prevent tipping, and for my needs—storing clothing like sweatshirts and sweatpants—it really doesnt matter. That said, I would not recommend this unit if you want to store something like craft supplies, as reaching smaller items out of the back of the drawers would get annoying. The drawers do feel a little bit flimsy and loose when pulling them in and out, which is where its most obvious that this is a flat-pack piece of furniture. However, I was able to fit them together easily, they are perfectly aligned, and they stay on their tracks without any issues. One of the screws wouldn't tighten. The other one did so the leg is stable for now. We contacted Wayfair and they allowed us to fully explain the situation. Harry 3 Dresser arrived today and the box looked a little wet and damaged in the corner, but all peices were okay when I opened the box. It took about a couple hours to put together, the instructions were good, but with one exception of the rolllerbar on the drawers is incorrectly pictured in the manuel. The roller should be at the back of the drawer not in the front. Not sure why they have this incorrectly pictured. Other than that, I am satisfied with the dresser. It looks great and is well built..
